Leather Production Lead – Jewelry Manufacturing - Full-Time
Location: Liberty, MO (Headquarters)
Schedule: Full-Time (M-F 9-4 with occasional weekends)
Pay: Starting at $18/hr depending on experience
Leather Production Lead
We're looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Leather Production Lead to take ownership of one of the most specialized areas of our production process.
This is more than a typical production position. You'll be trained in the craft of preparing the leather that becomes our signature earrings—including cutting, foiling, and painting. Because these skills take time to learn, we're looking for someone who is excited to build a long-term career with our team and take pride in mastering the craft.

What You'll Do

Learn and execute our leather preparation process, including cutting, foiling, and painting

Maintain inventory of leather, dies, foils, paints, and other supplies

Clean, organize, and maintain leather dies and cutting equipment

Keep the leather room clean, safe, and running efficiently

Maintain high standards for quality, consistency, and craftsmanship

Work independently while coordinating with the warehouse and production teams

Help train and support other team members as the department grows

About Our Warehouse
Our Kansas City Northland warehouse is bright, clean, air-conditioned, and full of energy. We design, make, and ship our jewelry in-house, and every pair of leather earrings begins in the leather room. This role plays a critical part in maintaining the quality Nickel & Suede is known for.
