Where to Shop

Not only do we eat, but of course we shop until we drop! Charleston, South Carolina, is a haven for shoppers seeking unique treasures and a taste of its historic charm. Our journey through the city's shopping scene led us to three extraordinary destinations that capture the essence of Charleston's distinct shopping experience. From the iconic Charleston City Market, where local artisans showcase their crafts, to the enchanting King Street with its abundance of shops, favorite designer brands, and original cobblestone roads that transport you to another era, and finally, the aromatic haven of Candlefish on King Street.

King Street: Exploring King Street in Charleston is an absolute must for anyone looking to experience the city's vibrant culture and unique charm. Whether you're indulging in some retail therapy or simply enjoying window shopping, the King Street walk promises an unforgettable experience.

Starting from 300 King Street and stretching up to 388 King Street, this bustling stretch offers an array of shops, dining options, accommodations, and other amenities to cater to your every need. Our team walked on cobblestone roads of King Street and discovered our favorite designer brands, local labels, most visited stores and more.

Candlefish: A must-see stop on King Street. This local candle shop is unlike any other with their very own candle library where you can find your own custom scent.

Charleston City Market: This charming market is right in the heart of the city. It's open every day where you can shop authentic made in Charleston goods like straw baskets, jewelry, artwork, and more!

Where to Take Photos

Rainbow Row: This is what pastel home dreams are made of. The best time to take pictures here is either early morning when the sun is soft or in the evening when these homes will be in shade.

What to do

Haunted Ghost Graveyard Tour: Our team loved going on this nighttime tour through historic Charleston. We got VIP access to walk through Charleston's oldest graveyards, hear the tales of the people who passed, and learn about unique charms of the city.

The Rise Coffee Bar: Need an afternoon iced chai? Stop at this European-inspired coffee shop for an almond crescent and an adorable courtyard patio.
